Normal: the oven is still shedding heat

Dinner was hours ago, the kitchen is quiet, and a steady whir is still coming from the range. Can I switch the cooling fan off myself?

Not from the controls. Wolf builds the cooling fan so it cannot be turned off, because it keeps the range's parts from overheating. Does an all-gas Wolf range behave the same way?

Wolf's cooling-fan guidance is written for electric ovens, which is what a dual-fuel range has. On an all-gas GR range, a fan that stops when you press CONV again, and pauses whenever the door opens, is the convection fan. One that ignores both is a different fault from this page, and worth a visit.
